15. Paint/Trace Due Wednesday before class is over

We will go over more uses with the layers in class and how to trace, here is a video if you missed the lesson or need help. You will trace and color in a still life or animal photo of your choice. Make sure that the image that you choose is at least a 4×6 in size. After you trace, color in using different colors to shade and color in to look realistic/good, while you are working on the project save as a PSD file, when you are done delete the extra layer and save as a jpeg. Submit to your blog as a gallery 2×1 with the original image, blog post title should be “Paint/Trace” and then title your image and title the original as original. Below is an example.

16. Paintings – Due Thursday before class is over

Download different brush stamps from brusheezy.com or psbrushes.net. You will paint two different paintings. The first one will be a background using different paint brushes. It needs to be a 11×8.5. The second painting should be a landscape or a still life using different brushes. This should be painted on your own. This needs to be a 11×8 and fill the page. Save both as a JPEG. Upload to your blog as a gallery 2×1, blog title should be “Paintings” and title each image what you want them to be. Here is a video if you missed class or need help remembering how to use the tools.
