12. Collage – Due Tuesday before class is over

Create a collage about you. The document size should be 11×8 (landscape) You must fill the entire page with pictures about you, no white space at all.  Make sure that it is school appropriate. Also, you need to have at least three pictures that are black and white, and three others that you manipulated the color (brightness/contrast, color, hue, etc.) When getting the photos onto the new document try to use the different selection tools as well. Don’t leave the background for all of the photos that you use, select them out with the selection tools. You will be graded on changing the six pictures, filling the entire space, and creativity. Upload to your blog, blog post title should be “Collage” and then title the image whatever you want to.

13. Black and White Painting – Due Wednesday before class is over

Using three different black and white photos, paint in color, use different techniques, hues, saturation, color, etc. Upload to your blog, this should be in a gallery with the three images, each image should be titled what you want them to be and the blog post should be titled “Black and White Painting.” Here is a video if you missed class or need help remembering how to use the tools.

14. Paintings – Due Thursday before class is over

Download different brush stamps from brusheezy.com or psbrushes.net. You will paint two different paintings. The first one will be a background using different paint brushes. It needs to be a 5×5. The second painting should be a landscape or a still life using different brushes. This should be painted on your own. This needs to be a 5×7 and fill the page. Save both as a JPEG. Upload to your blog as a gallery with the two images that you painted, blog title should be “Paintings” and title each image what you want them to be.
